Makanan Untuk Anjing Dihidangkan Kepada Tetamu Hotel?

Hari ini tersebar satu surat yang dikatakan ditulis oleh seorang pekerja sebuah hotel, (The Plaza Hotel, Jalan Raja Laut, KL) yang mengadu kepada JAKIM bahawa:
… roti yang dibelinya (Purchasing Officer hotel tersebut) daripada syarikat Ming Kee Cake House adalah roti yang diberikan sebagai makanan anjing. Syarikat tersebut diperkenalkan oleh Pengurus Besar, Cik How Ai Bee malah pembelian roti-roti tersebut adalah di atas arahan Pengurus Besar untuk diberikan sebagai hidangan sarapan pagi kepada sejumlah 390 pelajar daripada Jabatan Pelajaran Selangor yang menginap di The Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur, pada tarikh 14hb sehingga 17hb November 2011

PER: ADUAN PEMBERIAN MAKANAN KEPADA TETAMU HOTEL

Dengan segala hormatnya saya merujuk kepada perkara tersebut di atas.
1. Pada hari Rabu 16hb November 2011, saya telah dimaklumkan oleh seorang rakan
kerja saya bernama Abdul Qayyum Bin Abdul Rashid, jawatan sebagai Jr. Sous Chef
bahawa beliau diberitahu oleh Purchasing Officer syarikat ini, iaitu Cik Linda Woo
Yoke Lin bahawa roti yang dibelinya daripada syarikat Ming Kee Cake House adalah
roti yang diberikan sebagai makanan  anjing. Syarikat tersebut diperkenalkan oleh
Pengurus Besar, Cik How Ai Bee malah pembelian roti-roti tersebut adalah di atas
arahan Pengurus Besar untuk diberikan sebagai hidangan sarapan  pagi  kepada
sejumlah 390  pelajar  daripada Jabatan Pelajaran Selangor yang menginap di The
Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur, pada tarikh 14hb sehingga 17hb November 2011.
2. Sukacita saya sertakan di sini salinan beberapa dokumen untuk perhatian dan tindakan
pihak tuan selanjutnya.
i. Event Order For Residential Package No. P/11/000195 berkaitan penempahan
oleh Jabatan Pelajaran Selangor.
ii. Invois Ming Kee Cake House bertarikh 15/11/2011 untuk pembelian 780 biji
roti sebagai hidangan sarapan pagi bagi tempoh penginapan pelajar tersebut di
The Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur. (130 kotak x 6 biji = 780 biji)
3. Pembelian dari syarikat Ming Kee Cake House adalah kes terpencil dan tiada urusan
dengannya sebelum ini oleh The Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
4. Aduan ini dibuat kerana saya dan rakan-rakan berasa ragu-ragu dan amat jijik bila
mendapat tahu makanan yang diumpamakan sebagai makanan yang diberikan kepada
anjing dihidangkan kepada tetamu hotel, apatah lagi kepada pelajar sekolah.
5. Contoh roti adalah disertakan, dan sila maklum bahawa tiada tarikh luput dinyatakan.Untuk makluman tuan, The Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur menerima banyak tempahan
dari agensi kerajaan, malah pada penghujung bulan ini tempahan diterima dari ADUN
Permatang Pauh dan UMNO Gelugor. Pemantauan daripada pihak berwajib amat saya
alu-alukan agar penyediaan makanan yang bersesuaian dengan tuntutan agama dan
budaya negara kita sentiasa dikawalselia. Disertakan salinan Sales Monthly Forecast
untuk bulan November dan Disember 2011 untuk perhatian tuan.
Saya berbesar hati agar pihak tuan dapat menjalankan siasatan terperinci demi
menjaga etika pemakanan  yang dihidangkan kepada tetamu hotel tidak diragui dan
dikenalpasti Halal dan Haramnya, kerana tetamu hotel kebanyakannya beragama
Islam.
Saya sudahi dengan ucapan jutaan terima kasih di atas kerjasama dan perhatian segera pihak
tuan dalam menangani aduan ini.

Lanjutan aduan ini, pihak JAKIM datang siasat dan mengesahkan roti tersebut mengandungi babi. 

The incident that brought Jakim to investigate the premise of The Plaza Hotel sometime in December 2011, of which are made known that it aroused from that the buns served for 390 students from Jabatan Pendidikan Malaysia, that you had directed to purchase from Meng Kee Cake House are confirmed to be with contents of pork. I could not tolerate this act as it is an insult for Islam. The hotel had been accorded the HALAL certificate and your act is absolutely contravene the said certification.

Dear Madam,

RESIGN CONSTRUCTIVE DISMISSAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL STRESS DUE TO BEING VICTIMISED AND
HARRESSED

Please be advised that effective immediately, I resign from my post of Asst. Human Resources
Manager.
It is with deepest regret that this decision has to be made.  I could no longer tolerate the continuous
discrimination and harassment and I found it difficult to perform at my level best under the non
conducive working conditions. My health is failing as a result of the continuous discrimination and
harassment.
1. My complaint on the absence of a computer and the long waited internet access had fallen
on deaf ears; and the discriminatory acts/harassments are still continuing. Furthermore, I
have been retaliated against for protesting on the availability of a computer and the request
of the internet access to speed up my work progress especially to view my e-mail and the
job applicants at the JobStreet, as it is of vital importance. I had to share the computer with
the HR Assistant at her workstation, and to enable me to have access to the internet I had to
go to the Finance Dept and the Front Office Department at ground floor.
2. As for the computer, a new set had been bought for the Finance Department, and I shall be
given their previous ‘used’ set, which is still pending. I deserved to be treated equal ly and
fairly as anyone else under similar circumstances.
3. Setting unattainable deadlines to check staffs leave records for previous years as the
employees commences work, and had to search for previous years punch cards as the records are not well maintained. I had thus develop a new system which is user friendly to
enhance proper retrievable of such leave records.
4. Setting unattainable deadline to prepare and writing Job Descriptions for ALL Heads of
Departments, and all those are yet not reverted to me for discussion or dissemination, and
no further development/progress thereafter from you.
5. Even though I have an HR Assistant, you have refrained her from assisting me in carrying
out all aspects of confidential duties. As such the burden lies on me with regards to issuance
of appointment letters, all filing relating to personal files, folding, stapling and
administration of salary slips, going to EPF and Income Tax for submission of monthly
statutory requirement and to the bank twice monthly for crediting of salaries and service
charge. HR Assistant is only allowed to administer staff leave records.
6. You had constantly interfered the Duty Roster of Security Dept. You had once called off the
leave of a Security Assistant without my knowledge and had forced me to reimburse the
cost of his bus fare with my personal money. I had earlier approved his leave as he wanted
to visit his sick mother at his hometown, of which his mother passed away few days later.
7. My request for emergency leave on 13/02/2012, of which I had the courtesy to call and
inform the Executive Secretary at 8.45 am the same day. You had declined my submission of
the Commissioner For Oath and had blurted out in anger at the Daily Management Briefing
on 20/02/2012 and had embarrassed me. You could have notified me in a separate
discussion at your office.
8. My request for annual leave, submitted on 14/02/2012, for four (4) days on                                
23 – 27/02/2012 declined. In fact I have sufficient leave to utilize. I had attached reasonable
attachment of which my daughter’s wedding on 26/02/2012.  As  I had given  sufficient
notice, this tantamount to the acts of victimization.
9. The Industrial Court case 2009, which are to be heard on 09/02/2012 had not been
discussed prior mentioned date. The company’s decision and principle are not
communicated to me, when you had instructed me to be present as the company’s
representative only with a small note from your Executive Secretary. The letter from the
Industrial Court was never directed to me as you claimed. Studying the facts of the case,
though the company had a set of mistakes, the company too, is of the custody of the proof
that the staff is guilty and had not telling the truth. I had suggested for the company to pay
an ex-gratia payment of RM200  – RM500 as settlement. The company may not have to
reimburse the total amount of unpaid leave during the suspension period. You chose not to
listen to me instead you undermined my role and ideas pertaining to this case.10. Malicious behavior  by you in/during Daily Management Briefing inferring my previous
employment with KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL HOTEL (KLIH) that I was denied
annual increment, which was ABSOLUTELY not true. I was never been denied my increment
and also been given maximum bonus during my tenure with KLIH. This issue has no bearing
to our meeting.
11. Pertaining to the matter of early preparation and submission of January 2012 payroll to
Raymond, of the Managing Director’s office. This requires confrontation with Raymond
which finally Raymond admitted that he did called me on Tuesday evening, confirmed that
he requires early submission of January 2012 payroll to his office by 17th
January 2012. You
had at the Daily Management Briefing saying that I am not telling the truth and this had
caused me undue stress.
